"Mating Season" is maintained every Month. Every female will go into heat at this time due to lionesses usually have synced estrus cycles. Exceptions to this rule are females who have recently had cubs, older lionesses, and lionesses with older cubs.
> If you have had cubs you will have a short Estrus cycle which will occur a week (Ingame) after your give birth. (Like two days real time, and last about a real day or two. Usually results in no pregnancy.)
> A lioness can breed till they are 15 years old, but reproduction usually starts to decline at age 11.
> Lionesses who have cubs that are in their Adolescent stage can go into heat before it is mating season. (Not for very long.)
> A lioness in heat is open to any Male. (Dominates get first pick.)
> A lioness has the right to reject a male if she seems him unfit. (Give'em a good smack Lass!)
> Keep it realistic. Chuff, leave scent marks, that kinda stuff. Go for the strongest male. (My babies shall be strong, healthy! Yes you can flirt. There is love here! <3)
>The male you mate with one season doesn't have to be your choice next season.
> Force mating is allowed but PLEASE HAVE PERMISSION FROM THE PERSON OOC! I can not stress this enough and if it is reported to staff that it has happened without OOC consent you will be kicked.
> A Male can challenge another Male for his Mate, after which the female will belong to the winning male. (However does not mean she has to breed to the Male, or really like him. You can still give him a good smack Lass!)
> When a female goes into heat, She's up for grabs by all Dominant Males.
> Pregnant females will remain with the pride until she is ready to Birth. (Four to Five Real-Life days).
> Cubs need to stay at the densite. (You run off on purpose no one will come fetch you.)
> Mating out of season results in no pregnancy. (Unless your cubs are grown or killed off.)
> Mating needs to be done in Private.
> Litters sizes need to consist of 1 to 5 cubs.
> When cubs reach 16 to 18 months (1 to 1.5 years) their Mother's can start producing their next litter.
